THIS IS MY LIFE: WHERE DID THE LAST TWO WEEKS GO

We are definitely back into the routine now after one week back at school. I have to say the 6.30am wake up has been a struggle but it should only get easier from now! I have also committed myself to saving as much money as I can so that I will be able to do some travelling around Europe in the summer. I have planned a 6 week trip so now I have to see if I can save up enough money between now and then! This also means that I will be back eating super healthy so I can fit back into my summer clothes after putting too much weight on over the last year!
I am so jealous of my family back home at the beach right now with our family friends for our annual holiday but I wouldn’t trade this once in a lifetime opportunity! I keep looing back at the old photos from the summers gone by, some great memories. I am very excited to get back and spend some time at the caravan, its really nice for Mum and Dad to be out of the tents. They have worked hard for the last 20 years and they deserve a break!
I haven’t really been doing a lot lately. I have been on a couple of pub crawls, which were pretty messy nights in general. One was around Leicester Square which was very cool. We went into all of these super expensive door charge places for free, it was all pretty touristy though but something else to tick off the list! The other one was a bit less touristy in Shoreditch where I met some Germans and actually spoke a bit of German to them. They told me that my accent was very good so that was a nice confidence boost - it may have just been the alcohol talking though!

Chloe, Katie and I went to Hampton Court Palace. It is one of only two surviving palaces out of the many owned by King Henry VIII. Having read the story of Anne Boleyn, I was very excited to visit this royal residence. Anne actually lived in this palace, and I found that pretty cool! We got to dress up in old fashioned robes and play old fashioned board games while watching a live show about what life was really like for those who lived in the Palace.
In the gardens there was a hedge maze. Chloe split off from Katie and I and ended up finding the middle much sooner than us. She was having a great time laughing at us while we ran around frantically trying to find our way in.

I have just been to see Sharon (Mike and Carmen’s Daughter) who has lent me some skiing gear for our holiday in 4 weeks time, which is really nice of her. This means that I don’t have to spend my money on things I will probably never wear again, like a skiing jacket and pants. I will have to join Sophie and Jens with the exercises they have been doing to build up some muscles so I don’t get too sore from skiing!
Next weekend is Alice’s 8th Birthday so it will be full on here, and I have been invited to come along and help out. It should be great fun and a good opportunity to save up some money! She is having a movie screening for her and about 15 friends at a little french cinema followed by lunch at Pizza Express, a super yum pizza resturant. I am really looking forward to going and seeing what it is all about.
